Bennett has had a great weekend. He gained over 2 ounces this weekend and is now 3 lbs 10.3 oz!!!!! Four lbs here we come!!
His doctor agreed with me that its a good idea to keep him on the CPAP for at least a few more days. Give him some time to rest and grow before we put the strain of breathing unassisted back on him. He's doing wonderfully on the CPAP and has pretty much been on room air for the last two days. They put a cannula on him so I can hold him and I can tell a difference in his rate and depth of respirations. Its amazing how that flow of air can help him so much.
Thats all on our sweetie pie today! He really is such a wonderful baby. I can't wait to see his little personality blossom. As of now, he's so cuddly and inquisitive. When he's alert and awake, he just quietly looks around and studies everything. He doesn't cry often, but when he does, you'd better listen! I love this boy like crazy!!!!

Chantelle, I've missed you and hearing about your lil guy! It's so nice to get back on your blog again and get caught up! I've been right.out.straight but you are never, ever, ever far from my thoughts!!!
