Not Again!!!!!

Yes people, Bennett is sick AGAIN! He spiked a fever yesterday afternoon and was breathing a little fast (for him), so we took him to the Pediatrician. The GOOD NEWS is that Boo Boo's lungs are perfectly clear!! WOOO HOOO!!! The bad news is that the Ped. did a CBC and called us at 10 p.m. last night (its never good when you get a call from the dr. that late...) saying his white blood cell count is elevated and his reticulyte (newly forming red blood cells) count is low, so we need to be very careful and take him to the ER if his fever goes to 104* or more. The highest it has been thus far is 103*. I was a nervous nelly all night just waiting for the flare, but thankfully he stayed happy and cool all night long. We're cycling the motrin and tylenol in hopes of keeping the fever down. Hopefully, he will fight this bug off without incident this time!
