Bennett's Follow Up was GREAT!

I took Bennett to his Pediatrician today to follow and make sure his lungs were still clear - and she said they sound beautiful!!! We only have one day left of antibiotics, but will continue with the breathing treatments for a while to be on the safe side. We got a new nebulizer today too! Ours was from Carter, about 3.5 years old! It was starting to have an odd burning smell and taking like 30 minutes to nebulize one respule!! The new one is so fancy and modern looking, lol!

The other great news is that he's gaining weight again! He was up 4 ounces from Weds morning!! We've been adding extra calories to his nighttime bottles to help him out a bit.

Carter had his 4 year check up yesterday (the Ped. will soon be able to retire off of us....)! He was 37.5 inches tall (5th percentile) and 35.75 lbs (dressed, at 50th percentile). His lungs sounded good and clear too (he has some asthma/reactive airway disease), and everything is looking great with his kidneys/urine culture (he has hydronephrosis detected in utero), so we don't need to do another ultrasound until he is EIGHT!!! YIPPIE!! He's hitting all his milestones and is advanced in verbal and cognitive skills (he is MY child after all, he he he!!!) :) He got two immunizations in his thigh and cried like a baby. Then he was embarassed for crying! He said to me on the way home - "Mom, I forgot to say "eek!", I wasn't supposed to cry!" What a cutie trying to be so tough! Its freaking me out to think that in a year and a half I'll be sending my baby off to Kindergarten!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything sounds good with both boys! Glad to hear Bennett is gaining weight and it's good to hear that Carter's kidneys are doing well! I'll pray for sleep for you too Chantelle!
