Yes, c-sections SUCK. Forget the fact that it probably saved both my children's lives - you don't have to be logical in the blog-world, do you??
I saw my OB today about persistent sharp pain I feel in my c-section area 6.5 mos post partum. Turns out I have knots forming where they stitched my fascia up on one side, and maybe caught a part of the muscle. Lovely. I have to deal with it for at least another year, and if it doesn't resolve on its own, I get to undergo a fun outpatient procedure to fix it.
This is why I wanted to have all-natural births. C-sections SUCK.

OMG what the heck?!?! That DOES suck! I swear, you deserve a medal of honor for all that you've endured throughout your pregnancies! Or at least a credit card with no spending limit! ;)
Good Lord woman! Maybe they should "fix" it for free since they messed up????
i had something similar, if i stretched or breathed in deep, i felt as if my guts were busting out of my section scar area internally. felt like they stitched the outside up but not the inside!
told me it was scar tissue but if it persisted then I'd need a sonogram (and this was 2 years after giving birth!) well, it hasn't happened as often since then amazingly, but still weird. AND to top it off, they sewed me up crooked - you can tell where they sewed one side tighter or something than the other because my lower belly is uneven.
joy.
Dear Lord Lizzie! Two years!! Shoot me.
Yeah I'm not happy with my scar. My scar from Carter's birth was 4 inches long, very faded and barely noticeable. Bennett's scar is EIGHT inches long and I have staple scars around it to boot b/c they couldn't sew or use the dermaglue b/c of the bleeding issues I had. Fockers.
These kids will never realize what we go through for them!
