Yep, my 24 week maternity leave came to a close and I returned to the office full time today. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I got a little emotional saying bye to Bennett this morning, but I kept it together knowing he was in good hands. Ace and his dad are sharing Bennett during the day. I only called once to check on him, and he was doing fine. My father-in-law did comment how he was a very light sleeper and only wanted to sleep on him :) Hopefully, he'll adjust soon. He ate well and didn't cause any trouble.
I enjoy being back in the office, being around grown ups and using my brain. The day really sped by! Hopefully, now we can get back into a routine and things will feel more organized.
Carter had his first day of school today too! He has new teachers and a new classroom, but many of his same friends that he's been with for the past three years. He seemed to have a good time!
All in all, not a shabby day. Now I'm off to love on and enjoy my babies!

It must feel great to know that Bennett is in such good hands! You should get some sort of award -like mom of the year or something!
