The CPAP is gone!!!! The nurses all ganged up on his doctor this morning and said this boy NEEDS to move on to a nasal canula, so he said they could try it out!! He did SO well all day!! He needed a little more oxygen than normal, but stayed under 30%, which is really good. Unlike the CPAP, which forces his lungs to stay open, this just gives him extra oxygen. We are praying he continues to do well and doesn't have to go back because he is SO much happier without the CPAP. Plus, we get more of a view of his beautiful face!
Big brother got to "hold" him today and did really well!!! He was enthralled!!!

Otherwise, Bennett is just plugging along. He's gained 20 grams (a little over 2/3 of an ounce) the last two days, and we hope that continues!

Awww! So much great news...just got back from our babymoon and I had to check up on your little man! Glad he is doing so well!!
OMG OMG OMG!!!! Bennett is GORGEOUS! Oh I love seeing his face!!! Congratulations-- he is doing so well! I am in tears over the last pic! The picture of the boys holding hands is too beautiful for words. I can't believe it. This is all so wonderful!!!
